The “Art of the Originals” series begins with a trio of monthly explorations of Native American presence and portrayal in the most powerfully influential art forms of our times: film, television and theatre. We then turn the focus to the works of individual Native American artists. Our series is made possible by a grant from the Kentucky Native American Heritage Commission, established in 1996 to recognize and promote Native American contributions to Kentucky's history and culture.
